Uma helps gifted and highly intuitive women to release fear & anxiety, connect with their Higher Self and live a radiant life of magic and joy. She’s based in Austin, Texas.
At age 16, Uma became a meditator and a student of Buddhist teachings. Her interest in spirituality took a scientific turn in college as she became fascinated with the brain and the mysteries of human consciousness. As an undergrad at Stanford University, she was a biology major and neuroscience researcher.
As a junior, she discovered a passion for photography. Upon graduation, Uma became an award-winning photojournalist and Pulitzer Prize finalist whose work has been published in The New York Times.
In 2016, Uma turned from photojournalism to the healing path. She trained to become a mind-body coach with Abigail Steidley and launched her coaching career. She is currently in training to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner.
As a coach, Uma combines her background in neuroscience research with a love of spirituality. She’s the founder of EMBODIED SPIRITUALITY, a free Facebook community. She's a student of A Course in Miracles and a trained Unity Prayer Chaplain.
Her obsessions include dessert, dancing, Hermione Granger, books and causeless joy. She’s addicted to learning (translation: buying workshops and courses). If Uma could be a professional student (as a career), that is what she’d do.
UMA LOVES TO HELP WOMEN FIND THEIR INNER RADIANCE & MAGIC.
